SUMMARY:MBC Standards Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The DMSC Standards Committee\, chaired by Ray Admire\, will meet in-person June 20-22\, 2023 at the University of Texas at Arlington (DFW). The Standards Committee will convene and complete a final review of the to-be-submitted Model-Based Characteristic (MBC 1.0) tandstandard document\, and then do a formalized vote to decide to submit this version of the MBC 1.0 to ANSI. \nThe process of moving the proposed standard from the MBC Working Group to the DMSC Standards Committee to ANSI is defined in the 2022 version of the DMSC-ANSI Procedures. New standards that are intended to ultimately be designated by ANSI as an American National Standard (ANS) must follow these procedures – and this is the intent for MBC 1.0. \nMeeting Agenda \nInvitations to participate have been published in multiple DMSC news articles and DMSC newsletters in 2022-2023. \n\nParticipation via Microsoft Teams is also available at this link:\nMicrosoft Teams meeting \nJoin on your computer\, mobile app or room device \nClick here to join the meeting \nOr call in (audio only) \n\n\n\n+1 303-824-6161\,\,604383422#\n  United States\, Denver\n\n\n+1 408-752-8700\,\,604383422#\n  United States\, Sunnyvale\n\n\n\nPhone Conference ID: 604 383 422# \nFind a local number | Reset PIN \nStart your meeting with a safety message (https://tiny.lmco.com/msm) and take credit in TZ Leader.

SUMMARY:QIF Training & Certification WG
DESCRIPTION:The DMSC is pleased to announce the formation of a new QIF Training & Certification Working Group (WG) for the purpose of initiating a new formalized QIF Training and Certification program. \nThis inaugural meeting will have three key objectives: \nDetermine a WG Chair/Vice Chair/Co-Chair\nDevelop a WG Charter that will provide long-term guidance for the entire program\nDetermine a suitable cadence for future WG meetings \nThe goal of this WG is to solve the multitude of issues with a start-up Training program. Obviously a QIF technical training curriculum will be needed\, but there are many other tasks that need to be figured out. QIF expertise is not needed\, so even those who may not be QIF Subject Matter Experts can contribute thoughts and ideas focused on the success and logistics of the program. This will include non-technical issues such as Marketing the Program\, Developing a suitable Student Registration Process\, Student Testing Evaluation\, etc. \nPlease contact me with questions or issues\, thank you.\nMark Thomas\, DMSC Executive Director\, email. \n\nMicrosoft Teams meeting \nJoin on your computer\, mobile app or room device \nClick here to join the meeting \nMeeting ID: 211 385 790 094\nPasscode: WNaRij \nOr call in (audio only) \n+1 585-371-5124\,\,12003299# United States\, Rochester \nPhone Conference ID: 120 032 99# \n
