Today, the DMSC Board of Directors have announced it has made two key moves to support the continued growth and industry acceptance of the ANSI/DMSC Quality Information Framework (QIF) standard. DMSC President, Curtis Brown, announced the appointment of Mark Thomas to the position of Executive Director. This announcement is in response to QIF surging market interest and pending potential adoption of QIF as an ISO standard.

Mark Thomas

Mr. Thomas is a seasoned Marketing professional with a broad background in the metrology and manufacturing industries. Curtis Brown remarked “we are extremely pleased with the addition of Mark, who will guide our growth with focused marketing programs”. Mr. Thomas will promote further adoption of the QIF standard and handle DMSC day-to-day operations.

Bailey Squier

Also announced is the retention of Bailey Squier, previous Executive Director for DMSC. Mr. Squier is one of the founders of DMSC and program manager of the organization’s predecessor, Quality Assurance Program of the Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing – International.
