After a multi-year hiatus, the popular 3D CIC event was back for 2024 with a technical program loaded with fascinating presentations relating to the latest technology and best practices for sharing 3D data across different software platforms.
Held in Golden, CO, March 4 – 7, the Colorado School of Mines was a comfortable venue for the 30+ presenters, many of whom are DMSC members.
The Keynote Speaker, Annesa Muthana of Pioneer Services, was a brilliant opening to the event, as she gave an inspirational story of how her team transformed a basic screw machine shop into a high-tech precision machining center using digital data to provide actionable reporting. Employee “buy-in” of the transformation process was a key element in their success.
A significant number of speakers discussed their QIF (Quality Information Framework) experiences and QIF was a recurring theme throughout the event.
DMSC was a sponsor of the event, with over 200 engineers, 3D practitioners, and thought leaders in attendance.
