The after-hours DMSC Meeting/Mixer event at IMTS brought together a gaggle of members and non-members as a networking opportunity and abbreviated business meeting. The networking aspect of the event gave participants an opportunity to renew old friendships, while the meeting portion updated everyone on the latest DMSC activities.
Curtis Brown, DMSC President, welcomed all to the gathering and gave everyone an informal ‘DMSC State of the Union”, which highlighted membership growth, current status of the MBC 1.0 standard and QIF 4.0 progress. The meeting also included a brief demo of the QIF Technical Training effort, and a rough timeline plan.
The 1-hour session on Tuesday, 9/10, drew 60+ DMSC members and potential members for cocktails, appetizers, and conversation.
