The Digital Metrology Standards Consortium has been conducting a search for a part-time Project Manager.

The new DMSC Project Manager will be responsible for managing the ongoing development of the QIF Standard. Services provided by the Indeed job search platform along with networking by “friends and family” has provided a substantial supply of potential candidates.

Over the last month or so, Ray Stahl, DMSC Board member, has narrowed the field of over 50 resume submissions to just four. Ray will be conducting four personal interviews next week, and two candidates will be chosen to have a joint conversation with the DMSC Board of Directors.

The remote, 10-hour per week job responsibilities include preparing agendas for the active DMSC Working Groups (WG), assist the WG Chairs in leading the group discussions, documenting WG progress. and overall management of the standards development process.

Candidates will be expected to have strong Project Management skills and have an understanding of QIF and basic Metrology.

The successful candidate will report to the DMSC Board of Directors. A target date for a final hiring decision is January 31, 2022 and we expect to announce the results in Q1-2022.
