DMSC to showcase digital metrology standards at Booth 135001 and host member networking event featuring presentation by DMSC President Curtis Brown
The Digital Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC) will exhibit at IMTS 2026, September 14–19 at McCormick Place in Chicago, bringing together members and industry leaders focused on advancing digital metrology, interoperability, and model-based manufacturing.
Visitors can find DMSC at Booth 135001, where representatives will be available to discuss the Quality Information Framework (QIF), Model-Based Characteristics (MBC), and the role of open standards in enabling a connected digital thread across design, manufacturing, inspection, and quality.
DMSC will also host a networking event on Tuesday, September 15, providing an opportunity for members, industry professionals, and IMTS attendees to connect and learn more about the organization’s work. The event will include a short presentation by Curtis Brown, President of DMSC, highlighting developments in digital metrology and the growing importance of standards-based interoperability.
“IMTS is an excellent opportunity for DMSC to connect with the broader manufacturing community and demonstrate why open standards are so important to the future of digital manufacturing,” said Curtis Brown, President of DMSC. “We are seeing tremendous interest in connecting product definition, quality information, and inspection data across the digital thread. QIF and Model-Based Characteristics provide important building blocks for making that vision a reality.”
DMSC members will also have a significant presence throughout IMTS, with many member companies exhibiting their own technologies and solutions. Attendees are encouraged to visit DMSC Booth 135001 to learn more about the DMSC community and discover the many companies contributing to the QIF and digital manufacturing ecosystem.
“Having so many DMSC member companies represented at IMTS is a great reflection of the strength and diversity of our community,” said Alana Duma, Marketing and Membership Director at DMSC. “Whether you’re looking for QIF-enabled software, metrology solutions, model-based expertise, or simply want to learn more about digital manufacturing standards, IMTS is a great place to connect with the DMSC community.”
