QIF Training & Certification WG
November 12 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am EST
Following the inaugural meeting of the QIF Training & Certification Working Group on June 27th, 2023, the DMSC is pleased to announce the official formation of this new QIF Training & Certification Working Group (WG) for the purpose of initiating a new formalized QIF Training and Certification program.
Working Group Chair: Jesse Zahner, Sigmetrix
Working Group Vice-Chair: Mark Thomas, DMSC
Working Group Charter as of July 11, 2023:
To develop a comprehensive QIF training program that may include certification (by DMSC) after completion. The initial effort defined in the new Charter should be considered “Phase 1”, as this is a very substantial task that will offer QIF Basic training to start, and could expand further if there is market demand.
Working Group Goal:
Develop a QIF technical training curriculum.
Meeting Cadence:
Virtual meetings will be held every other Tuesday at 9am ET; see meeting link below.
Participation:
There are many tasks within the charter and goal of this Working Group that must be filled, many that do not require specific QIF expertise. Even those who may not be QIF Subject Matter Experts can contribute thoughts and ideas focused on the success and logistics of the program. This will include non-technical issues such as Marketing the Program, Developing a suitable Student Registration Process, Student Testing Evaluation, etc.
Direct your questions or issues to the Working Group Chair or Vice-Chair via email.
