DMSC Announces Board of Director Election Results

The DMSC is pleased to announce results for the recent 2024 – 2026 Board of Directors elections that concluded on November 29, 2023.

Elected from a field of six highly qualified nominees, the two successful candidates are Jennifer Herron (Action Engineering) and Hermitt Vega (Pratt & Whitney) who will be serving as DMSC Board members for a three-year term.

Jennifer is a current DMSC BoD member and is CEO of Action Engineering. She spearheads a Women-Owned Small Business empowering 3D Data adoption and cultivating a future-focused workforce.

With her adept team, she has counseled 180+ organizations since 2008, offering holistic coaching and training. A driving force behind Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) transitions through Model-Based Definition (MBD), Ms. Herron actively shapes industry evolution by engaging in leading standards bodies.

The DMSC welcomes Jennifer back as a Board member for another term.

Additionally, DMSC welcomes our other successful candidate, Hermitt Vega from Pratt & Whitney. Hermitt is a Pratt and Whitney Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Hartford, Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from University of New Haven, Master of Science in Engineering, Quality Strategies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Purdue University Certified Model-Based Definition, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Puerto Rico.

Hermitt has been with Pratt & Whitney for 18 years and is new to the DMSC Board of Directors.

DMSC is also pleased to announce that we had a record-high level of election engagement. Out of 32 DMSC member companies, votes from 28 companies were submitted. This is outstanding participation!

The successful candidates will begin their three-year service on January 1, 2024.
