The Global Product Data Interoperability Summit (GPDIS) is the communications hub for industry principals to foster knowledge through the exchange of ideas, solutions, and methods. It also builds consensus for tool and process standards in the industry.
At this event, Capvidia will demonstrate interoperability solutions for transferring 3D MBD data between CAD, CAM and CMM systems. Capvidia’s North American Director, Mr. Lyle Fischer will present a technology discussion on “The New QIF Standard: What Is It, and Why is it Important to my Organization”. The presentation will describe the new ANSI QIF 2.0 Standard and illustrate how it enables automatic transfer of MBD data to metrology systems. The presentation will include important information such as: How to streamline the creation of First Article Inspection reports using MBD data and how to derive “easy-to-interpret” inspection features (via Capvidia’s automatic analysis of MBD data and export to an Excel™ spreadsheet).
